Cara Anne Greene is a Nashville-based artist whose practice sits at the intersection of play and process. Working with themes of grief, loss and connection, she utilizes metal, ceramics, and glass with a focus on sustainable materials. She embraces experimentation, imperfection, and reuse as political acts. Her work is informed by her family's traditions of craft and her lifelong relationship with grief, how it shapes the self, how we perceive the world and ability to connect with others.

Cara Anne believes in the transgressive potential of making and community-building. With deep family roots in Tennessee, she is passionate about fostering experimental arts and social change in the South. She is a member of COOP Gallery, Nashville's oldest artist-run gallery, and serves on the board of the Arts & Business Council of Greater Nashville and Abortion Care TN.
